Our car's in there somewhere!

"Since there's no place to go; let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"
That's exactly what it did. We rented a cabin in Island Park this year for Christmas. We were homeless due to the fact that we were replacing the floor in our entire house over the holidays(as if Christmas isn't stressful enough). We had to have all of our furniture out by December 21st. After we moved everything out, the plan was for Jeremy to take the kids and I to the cabin and return to work back home for a few days. Jeremy joined the kids and I in the nick of time. It was a blizzard when he drove in late Christmas Eve. It didn't stop until 24 hours and 36 inches later.
We were disappointed that the two families who were going to join us had to cancel for obvious reasons (feet of white stuff). We couldn't even leave the cabin for three days, so we were forced to spend time together. It turned out to be the relaxing "White Christmas" we were all dreaming of.

Brandon and Jer- drowning in snow angels
Speaking of snow angels, Mckinley was ours. She was in it more than any of us.

Mommy had to shovel pathways for Austin so he could come out without being buried.

The kids quickly found the deck to be a perfect diving board.

"That car's not going anywhere!"

If you look hard enough you can find the steps.
