BJ and MJ discovered hidden talents recently. Who knew I had stars in my own house!!! They both received parts in the musical School House Rock. MJ was a dancer and singer. She was so fun to watch; very animated and enthusiastic. All her inhibitions flew out the window the minute she walked on the stage. It was great to see her come alive like that.
BJ was able to get a lead role and had two solos. He did fabulous. We figured out that he gets the giggles when he's nervous. He overcame that though and shined in each performance. The practices got long, but the work paid off. MJ even used one of the songs she learned on a test in geography.
We were so proud of our new found actor and actress!!!!
