Final Football

Our football season has come to and end!  It is always a busy and exciting time at our house.  BJ played for the Middle School this year.  He played both Center and Defensive End.  He had a great time and I noticed a huge improvement on his skills by the end of the season.  I never could get a great picture of him up close.  I spent half the time trying to find him.  Each number had two players.  I kept telling myself, "BJ is the 74 with the white shoes."  They ended the season 2 to 3.  Not perfect, but still a great time.

Another Highlight was CJ's Flag Football!  It made the season for CJ that Daddy was coach!  He did such a great job with those little ones!  This is my favorite age.  Sometimes you have to stop them from picking flowers or doing somersaults on the way to the huddle.  Jeremy will say, "K guys sweep left."  In the middle of the play they look up and say, "which ways my left."  We even had two girls on the team who did such a great job.  CJ's favorite position is safety!  He worked hard and was excellent at getting those flags!

Go purple Raiders!  Go CJ!

The kids were such troopers while we dragged them around from game to game.  LJ enjoyed eating dirt and honing her own football skills.  AJ played with the other spectators, and MJ chose to text her friends during the games even though they were sitting right next to her!  A great season and now ready for a little break . . .
